After having had a summer with crazy good weather we’re now back to our usual Lofoten weather: beautiful contrasts ❤️ This is the type of weather that gives Lofoten its dramatic edge. Much better then a clear blue sky if you ask me 😍

It was a few weeks ago we last saw the midnight sun. Slowly the nights are getting darker and in September the nights will become dark enough to see the northern lights again! Check out this video from BBC Earth where Professor Brian Cox explains the magic behind the northern lights. The midnight sun is out there, but unfortunately we haven’t been able to see it yet due to clouds on the horizon. Still nothing to complain about the light at midnight though 😍🌥

Just another day in paradise! 👉🏻 🥾🏔🌤🦅 The first stage of climbing towards Festvågtind (called Heia) is accessible even when there is some snow. Perfect for a beautiful spring day!

We have this flock of eider ducks in the harbor outside Tobiasbrygga and it's a delight to watch them dive! 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆 Vi har en flock med ærfugl (ejder) i hamnen utanför Tobiasbrygga och det är kul att se dem dyka!
